The ideal gift for the person who only wants the “real deal.” The “Rustic State” presentation of the cable has not been sandblasted to remove the original lead paint or debris. Efforts have been made to stabilize the original lead paint and aged patina. Due to the recycled and handmade nature of this item, each section of the Golden Gate Bridge suspender rope is unique and may have slight variations and imperfections.

Each section comes with a medallion attesting to its authenticity and is presented on a steel plate display stand bearing a metal plaque. These sections of the Golden Gate Bridge originated from the Suspender Rope Replacement Project (1971 – 1974).
