Tables create spaces that bring us together. They start off being functional pieces of furniture to place objects on and then become something more when we “family and friend” around them. Each piece is handcrafted using historic reclaimed suspender cables from the San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, forged metal and elegant hardwood. Presidio

Our version of an IPO, this first released coffee table blends two distinct rare materials: Damascus-style forge-welded suspender ropes from the Golden Gate Bridge topped with locally sourced 80+ year-old claro-walnut wood. If you look closely, the natural patterning of the wood matches harmoniously with the sinuous flow of the cables. The matching age of the ropes from the bridge built in 1936 and the exquisite claro-walnut make this soft yet modern design irresistible.

Sausalito

The gentle curves in this design are accentuated by natural refraction adding to the soothing aesthetics. This accent table is topped with an inlay of claro-walnut burl with a perimeter of orange padauk. The original Golden Gate Bridge suspender rope is finished in a weathered international orange patina, with additional darkening. Forged bronze rivets secure the legs through a forged billet (made from reserved pieces of suspender rope) in the shape of a decahedron.

Waldo

The cantilevered design has many architectonic flourishes, a perfect balance of form and function, strength and whimsy. This counter height table is topped with a mosaic of responsibly harvested hardwoods and burls.  The original Golden Gate Bridge suspender rope is finished in a weathered international orange patina.  Forged bronze rivets secure the legs through a forged pressed steel base.

Tamalpais

The Tamalpais utilizes the same cantilevered design as the Waldo, but is topped with a claro-walnut slab displaying the versatility of the design for various personalities or purpose.  The height is perfect for a stand-up executive entrepreneur desk. The original Golden Gate Bridge suspender rope is finished in a weathered international orange patina.  Bronze rivets secure the legs through a forged pressed steel base.

As described, the Presidio is coffee table sized. Use this piece as you would any coffee table but be prepared for it to steal the thunder and become the focal point of the room! Both the Waldo and the Tamalpais are accent tables of counter height. The decorating uses are endless for these pieces. Use them to stage a mini wine center, a coffee bar, as a stand up desk or share a romantic bistro snack for two. The Sausalito is a stunning accent table that will brighten any corner and light up any room. The sizes of our tables are not written in stone and may be adjusted on an individually requested basis.
